Still further, while man in many things is contrary to Him, knowingly and willfully doeth many things although they are displeasing to Him, yet He warneth him to return, to seek again the mercy of his Creator...For He is the fountain of loving-kindness and mercy, and all, with whatever stain of sin they are defiled, He longeth to cleanse; cleansed, to give them the joy of everlasting life." ~St. Anselm
